Telling the Story Behind G-Force Communications’ Partnership with Warrington Youth Zone

At Aurora Creative Community, some of our favourite projects are the ones that give businesses and organisations the opportunity to tell genuine stories about the impact they’re making.
Recently, our team had the pleasure of filming, producing and editing a video for G-Force Communications, documenting their long-standing relationship with Warrington Youth Zone.
Rather than simply talking about the products and services G-Force provides, we wanted the conversation to uncover something bigger: how the right business partnership can make a real difference to a charity, the people working within it and, ultimately, the wider community it supports.
A Warrington organisation with nearly a century of history
Warrington Youth Zone has roots stretching back to 1930, when a group of local mums came together because they were concerned about their sons getting into trouble after school.
What began as an after-school club eventually became Warrington Boys Club and, following several moves over the decades, developed into the organisation and facility that serves Warrington today.
Warrington Youth Zone now works with young people aged seven to 19, extending to age 25 for those with additional needs. Beyond the impressive facilities and activities available, an important part of its work is helping young people and their families navigate the sometimes difficult transition from childhood into adolescence and adulthood.
That wider impact was something we particularly wanted to capture through the video.
How technology supports the work happening behind the scenes
During the interview, G-Force Communications discussed the technology and connectivity it has provided to Warrington Youth Zone, including mobile connectivity, mobile phones, broadband, phone systems and vehicle tracking.
For many businesses, these might simply sound like everyday operational tools.
For Warrington Youth Zone, however, they can play an important role in safeguarding young people and helping its team deliver services effectively.
Vehicle tracking and cameras help support safety when transporting children and young people, while reliable mobile connectivity means staff can remain in contact with parents and carers when activities take them away from the Youth Zone — whether that's into a local park, up a mountain or even out onto a lake.
The introduction of modern mobile phones has also helped the team work more efficiently. Staff can upload information and forms while also capturing better-quality photographs and videos of activities.
Those images and videos have another important purpose: helping Warrington Youth Zone demonstrate the work it does to trusts, grant providers and businesses, supporting its efforts to generate vital funding.
Reliable broadband and Wi-Fi are equally important. From everyday systems to security and CCTV, connectivity has become part of the infrastructure that keeps the organisation operating.
As Warrington Youth Zone described it during our interview, the difference has been a “game changer.”
More than a supplier relationship
One of the strongest messages to come from our filming wasn't really about technology at all.
It was about partnership.
G-Force Communications has worked with Warrington Youth Zone for seven years, and during the interview, the Youth Zone explained that while financial donations are incredibly valuable to charities, creating a genuine relationship goes much further.
It's about businesses taking the time to listen, understand and care about the impact their support is having.
That is what Warrington Youth Zone believes G-Force has brought to the relationship: an ongoing interest in the organisation, the young people it works with and the families it supports.
For us at Aurora, this became the heart of the story we wanted the finished video to communicate.
Creating a ripple effect across the community
The importance of relationships between charities and local businesses is perhaps greater than ever.
As household costs continue to put pressure on families, Warrington Youth Zone is finding itself providing more support beyond its core youth services. This includes practical help such as food for families and access to hot showers.
Delivering those services relies heavily on support from the local business community — and Warrington Youth Zone described G-Force as being “right in the center of that.”
It's this idea of a ripple effect that makes partnerships like this so powerful.
One business provides its expertise and resources. That helps a charity operate more effectively. The charity can then reach more young people and families. In turn, that support creates a positive impact throughout the wider community.
Capturing authentic stories through video
From an Aurora Creative Community perspective, this project is a great example of why we believe authentic storytelling is such an important part of marketing.
We filmed and edited the conversation with the aim of allowing both organisations to speak naturally about their experience rather than creating something overly scripted or promotional.
Because sometimes the strongest case study isn't a list of services or statistics.
It's sitting two people down, starting a conversation and giving them the space to explain what a partnership has actually achieved.
For G-Force Communications and Warrington Youth Zone, that story is about connectivity and technology — but it's also about seven years of collaboration, community support and a shared ambition to create an even bigger ripple effect across Warrington.
And we're proud to have helped them tell it.
