The Project
G-Force Communications approached Aurora Creative Community to help tell the story of its long-standing relationship with Warrington Youth Zone.
Having worked together for seven years, this wasn't simply a supplier-and-customer story. G-Force has become a genuine supporter of the Youth Zone, providing technology and connectivity that helps its team operate effectively while continuing to support children, young people and families across Warrington.
Our job was to capture that relationship on film and turn an authentic conversation into engaging content that demonstrated both the practical and wider community impact of the partnership.
About Warrington Youth Zone
Warrington Youth Zone's history stretches back to 1930, when a group of local mums came together to provide somewhere for their sons to go after school.
Today, the organisation works with young people aged seven to 19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs. Alongside its activities and facilities, the Youth Zone provides vital support to young people and their families as they navigate the transition from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood.
The Story We Wanted to Tell
G-Force provides Warrington Youth Zone with a range of essential communications technology, including mobile connectivity, mobile phones, broadband connectivity, a phone system and vehicle tracking.
But simply listing those services wouldn't tell the full story.
Our aim was to show what that technology enables Warrington Youth Zone to do.
During our interview, safeguarding emerged as one of the most important examples.
Vehicle tracking and cameras help the organisation protect young people while they're being transported, while reliable mobile connectivity allows staff to remain in contact with parents and carers when they're away from the building.
That can mean anything from working with young people in a park to being on a mountain or out canoeing on a lake.
Our Approach
We wanted the finished content to feel genuine.
Rather than creating an overly scripted corporate video, we captured a natural conversation between G-Force Communications and Warrington Youth Zone.
This allowed the people involved in the partnership to tell the story in their own words, giving us authentic moments that demonstrate the impact G-Force has made.
Aurora Creative Community managed the creative production of the content, including filming the interview, capturing the story and editing the footage into a finished piece of content for G-Force.
We also developed the written content surrounding the project, helping turn one filming opportunity into a wider piece of marketing collateral.
Turning Technology Into Real-World Impact
One of the strongest parts of the interview was hearing how seemingly everyday technology has made a tangible difference to Warrington Youth Zone.
Before receiving its newer mobile devices, the organisation described working with a mixture of old and handed-down phones.
Having modern devices means its team can now work more efficiently, upload data and forms, and capture better photographs and videos of young people taking part in activities.
Those images can then help Warrington Youth Zone demonstrate its work to trusts, grant providers and other businesses — supporting its efforts to secure further funding.
Reliable Wi-Fi and broadband also support everything from everyday systems to security and CCTV.
For Warrington Youth Zone, the difference G-Force's technology has made has been a “game changer.”
More Than a Customer Testimonial
As the interview developed, it became clear that the most powerful part of the story wasn't the technology.
It was the relationship.
Warrington Youth Zone explained that while charities depend on donations and support from businesses, what's harder — and often more valuable — is building genuine partnerships with organisations that take an interest in what they're trying to achieve.
After seven years of working together, that's how the Youth Zone views its relationship with G-Force.
G-Force's team takes the time to listen, understand what's happening within the organisation and learn more about how it is supporting children, young people and families.
That human element became central to the final piece.
The Outcome
The result is a customer case study that goes beyond promoting G-Force's products and services.
It demonstrates why those services matter.
It connects technology with safeguarding, efficiency, fundraising and community impact, while giving Warrington Youth Zone a platform to talk about the increasingly important work it does for local families.
With the Youth Zone now providing additional support including food and access to hot showers for families who need it, partnerships with local businesses continue to play an important role in enabling that work.
For G-Force, the finished content captures the value of a seven-year relationship and demonstrates what can happen when a business becomes more than simply a supplier.
For Aurora, it's exactly the type of story we love helping businesses tell.
